I was born in the Philippines. I graduated from Saint Louis University with a degree in Bachelors of Science major in Biology and then graduated from the College of Medicine in 1992. I had a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Nephrology at the National Kidney and transplant Institute before moving to Canada. I did my residency in Internal Medicine in Canada at the University of Calgary and started practicing in Lethbridge, Alberta since 2012.  My interest has shifted to cardiology due to the large volume of patients requiring cardiac assessments in Lethbridge and surrounding areas.
